Message from John on latest WHS win
I really don't believe that we won again! I had never properly settled down after winning the local heat, so you can imagine what I feel like now!
I was saying all day Friday that we were going to win, but I never really imagined what it would be like to actually win again! That's optimism for you, I suppose!
Well done and thanks to Mrs Edwards and Mr Royals, we wouldn't be anywhere near as good as we are if it weren't for you. We all really appreciate it!
Well done to everyone else on our team, because everyone is fantastic. We were prepared, we knew everything we neeeded to and we did fantastic! Next year I want to be a lawyer, which is mostly because I have seen how well Jonathan, Adam, Leanne and Sam have done this year! The witnesses were excellent, they weren't thrown by anything and never came out of character (even when Jenny couldn't say specifically...sorry Jenny, had to say that). Matt and Lisa were great. And the other magistrates, Jess and Adam! I won't mention myself, I'm far too modest lol.
I wasn't nervous about anything all day until the end when they were about to announce the winner. I felt wonderful after he said we had won. Sorry about this, but I wish someone took a picture of Leanne and Adam H's faces! It was great!
If we stay confident and work hard, I think we have a great chance of winning the nationals!

we didnt win but i still had a mint day at the National Finals! Still cant believe we got that far!

Thanks for taking us to the meal! It was so good and funny! 28p for a bottle of coke lol! (if u was on the table with me on you will understand hehe) And coke with cream and "its a dish" lol! Hope you not been sick matt lol!
Cant wait for next year and ill come and i will definatly come and help and so will all the year 9's who cant do it next year!

3RD PLACE!!! (2ND FROM ENGLAND!!!)
Please will someone from the team tell me if they could have predicted coming this far. If I had said to anyone back in October that we were going to come 3rd out of 300 schools in the country everyone would think I was crazy!
I thought on the day we were outstanding, better than we have been at any stage. Adam F(or "Miss Frances", as Jess would say) made me jump AGAIN with his objection. The irish usher was funny but I'm glad Assumption did well because they were really nice. Again, will someone tell me if they could understand what the lawyer from Ermysted was saying? I couldn't understand a word of it, he spoke that quickly.
The meal was fantastic! The food was great and it was such a laugh. Matt C is just so funny! I mean, anyone who drinks coke mixed with cream must be out of their mind! 28p lol. Norwegian from Poland lol. And in case anyone doesn't know what Eton Mess is, "It's a dish".
Mrs Edwards and Mr Royals, I don't think you know how wonderful you are! You have taught us all so much and given us the inspiration to do so well. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to enter in this competition, and thank you for giving me the chance to meet so many wonderful people! And on behalf of the whole team, good luck for your new job Miss Edwards!

OMG John, da meal was soooooo funny, n u wernt wiv us so u dont no wat is was lyk in da toilets (u no wat I mean em!)
N ov course I new we were gunna get 2 were we did not ! U were da one oo kept saying we were gunna win! We wud av sed u were crazy if u sed we were gunna du wat we did, bt we think ur mad nyway so it doesnt make much difference! Thanks miss n sir, cundnt ov dun it without u. 3rd place !!!
I cundnt tell the ermstead lawyer sed either , or hampster on steroids acorin 2 em, lol. How did hol cope !?!
